We were thrilled to take children from Lawrence House and Leiliebloem House to Silvermine on Saturday the 24th of March. Silvermine is one of Cape Town’s most beautiful nature reserves and we spent the afternoon cooling off after our short morning hike. A fantastic time was had by all.
About Lawrence House: Lawrence House aims at offering abandoned and orphaned foreign and refugee children a stable home environment where they can attend school and heal the trauma of separation from their families with the ultimate aim of ensuring safe family reunification.
About Leliebloem: Leliebloem House is a registered, non-for-profit organization, a residential centre for 84 children from troubled families, i.e. children who are in difficult circumstances and in need of special care and intervention.
